SFSDF Third Street Stage
Third Street Stage is 50' x 50' with an 18-foot high lighting grid spanning the entire stage. We can easily accommodate both large and small productions.
Our Green Screen is a 20' x 20' x 12' seamless cyclorama. The "cyc" is lit by Image 40 Kino Flo lights, and because of its non-metallic construction it is able to be used for motion capture production.
Please note, neither stage is fully sound proofed. Stage “B” while smaller in size, may be preferable for projects sensitive to sound. Stage B is16’ 6” wide by approximately 40’ long.

Certificate of Insurance: San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking requires a Certificate of Insurance be provided 24 hours prior to the rental of the Third Street Stage. Certificate should include the following coverage: A general public liability insurance policy providing at least $1,000,000 in coverage for bodily injury and property damage, including damage to the Third Street Stage, with SF School of Digital Filmmaking named as “Additional Insured”. A release and indemnity agreement provided by SFSDF must also be signed.
Parking and Loading Dock: SFSDF is located on Third Street between 22nd and 23rd Streets. Because of the construction of the Light Rail on Third St, look for street parking on the side streets or behind the building on Illinois St. The loading dock is on Third Street adjacent to the 2565 Third St. entrance. All equipment can be brought up the freight elevator to the Third floor. After unloading, the ramp must be cleared. The loading dock is open Monday through Saturday until 6:00pm. Projects scheduled outside of 8:30am – 6:00pm must be coordinated with the facilities manager prior to stage rental.
