THIRD STREET STAGE
The physical
heart and soul of SFSDF is our sound stage. This is literally
where movie magic happens! SFSDF has built a brand-new sound
stage that rivals the best in San Francisco. Third Street Stage
is a cavernous 50'x 50' with an 18-foot high lighting grid spanning
the entire sound stage. We can easily accommodate both large
and small productions. Our Green Screen is a 20' x 20' x 16'
seamless cyclorama. The "cyc" is lit by Image 40 Kino
Flo lights and because of its non-metallic construction it is
able to be used in motion capture production. We have an extensive
list of lighting and grip equipment through our partnership with
Richard Favaro of Favaro Lighting including a brand-new 4-ton
grip truck, full tungsten and HMI packages, Pee-wee dolly, Jimmy
Jib, and much more. Three loading docks facilitate loading into
the stage, each with full size industrial freight elevators.
Production
Offices
Production offices enable students to
have their own mise-en-place. Writing, meetings, editing, research
can be conducted by students in these intimate spaces. This is
where you find desks with phones, computers and internet access,
a library with periodicals, reference books and a large variety
of DVD's all available for the students use.
ADMISSIONS
SFSDF, the most innovative moviemaking
school in the country, has expanded its campus. As our student
body grows we continue our commitment to offer the best possible
classroom and production facilities to our students. Our new
space, located at 2331 3rd Street, will house both the admissions
and administration departments of the school. This expansion launches another exciting year at the School of
Digital Filmmaking. |
