FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

We would like to help you in determining your financial needs. Students accepted into the 1-Year Digital Filmmaking Program or into the 5-week Digital Filmmaking Workshop are eligible to apply for Career Training Loans available through SLM Financial Corporation, a Sallie Mae Company.

SFSDF is a vocational school and is certified to operate in California by the Bureau of Private and Postsecondary Education (BPPVE).   At this time, we are not a Title IV accredited school and cannot offer government approved student loans.

CAREER TRAINING LOANS
This is a private, credit-based loan offered through SLM Financial Corporation, a Sallie Mae Company.  You can borrow from a minimum of $1,000 up to the total cost of your tuition and living expenses up to $6,000 for students in the 1-Yr program only.  Approval is based on credit history, income, assets, employment history and present debt.  If your credit is less than ideal, you may still qualify for a loan by applying with a creditworthy cosigner.
